What should I check before buying surfboard fins?

Identify the fin boxes first, then check the board's intended setup, rider guidance and product size chart. FCS II, Futures, twin-tab and longboard box parts are not automatically interchangeable.

How do I choose a surfboard legrope?

Match the leash length and duty to the board and the conditions stated by the maker. A short performance leash and a longboard leash serve different boards and uses.

How do I size a boardbag?

Compare the bag with the board's full length, maximum width, thickness, nose and tail shape, and any fins left installed. Allow enough room without choosing a cover so loose that the board moves excessively.

What should I compare in a tailpad?

Check tail width and outline, number of pieces, arch height, kick shape and the position of your back foot. Dry-fit the pad before removing the backing.

What do I need for carrying a board on a car?

Use a suitable roof-rack or approved carrying system, correctly rated tiedowns and padding where required. Follow both the vehicle and accessory instructions and recheck the load during travel.
