Are FCS II, FCS Fusion and FCS X2 parts interchangeable?

No. They use different plugs, fin interfaces and installation tooling. Match the component and router setup to the exact system named on the product.

How do I choose an FCS II cant angle?

Choose the angle for the intended fin position and the board design. Current FCS II guidance uses 0 degree components for centre or stabiliser positions, with angled side components selected for thruster, twin or quad layouts.

What is the difference between Futures 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch boxes?

Current Futures product guidance uses 3/4 inch boxes for side fins and 1/2 inch boxes for centre fins or quad trailers. Confirm the exact layout before cutting.

How do I choose a longboard fin-box length?

Match the box to the board design, available installation area and compatible fin base. Do not choose box length from overall board length alone.

Do I need a dedicated jig and router bit?

Usually, yes. Each system has a specified route profile and depth. Some installation kits include guides or cutters but exclude the router, so check the product contents carefully.

TSS stocks FCS and Futures components alongside TSS-branded longboard boxes, leash plugs and installation supplies. If you are replacing damaged hardware, send TSS a clear photo and the existing system details before ordering.
