Spraying & Finishing

Find masking material for surfboard spraying, finishing and glassing preparation. Kraft masking roll helps cover areas that need protection from overspray and can also support masking steps during a glassing workflow. Apply it to a clean, dry surface with suitable tape, overlap and secure the edges, and check that every coating, tape and masking material is compatible with the blank, laminate and finish before beginning.

What is kraft masking roll used for?

It is used to cover and protect areas during surfboard spraying, finishing and selected glassing procedures.

Will masking paper stop all overspray by itself?

It needs to be overlapped, secured with suitable tape and checked around every edge. Gaps or loose paper can allow overspray onto the board.

Can it be used during glassing as well as spraying?

Yes. The product is intended for masking in spraying and can also be used in glassing procedures where a protected boundary is required.

Can I use any tape or coating with it?

Choose tape and coating products that suit the blank, laminate and finish. Test compatibility on a small area when the effect on the surface is uncertain.
