Sanding Pads

Shop SIA abrasive discs in 150 mm and 200 mm diameters, plus a compact air angle die grinder kit for suitable finishing and access work. The disc listings offer multiple grits for surfboard glass jobs and cured epoxy or polyester resin.

Confirm the machine, backing pad, disc diameter and attachment method before ordering. Diameter and grit solve different compatibility questions, so both need to match the job.

Buying help

Should I choose 150 mm or 200 mm discs?

Choose the diameter specified for your machine and backing pad. The two sizes are not interchangeable simply because the abrasive grit is available in both.

Are the SIA Speed products abrasive discs or machine backing pads?

The current products are described as SIA Speed abrasive disks in selected diameters and grits. Check the individual listing for what is supplied and what backing equipment is required.

Can these discs sand both epoxy and polyester glass jobs?

The product descriptions list them for cured epoxy and polyester resin. Let the laminate cure fully and follow the resin, abrasive and machine instructions.

Does the air angle die grinder include sanding accessories?

Do not assume accessories are included unless the product page lists them. Confirm the 6 mm accessory fit, air supply and intended use before ordering.

How should I choose grit for a powered sander?

Start with the least aggressive grit that will level the surface, then move through finer stages. Powered tools remove material quickly, so use light, controlled passes and inspect often.

Tool diameter, accessory fit and speed matter as much as abrasive grit. If any part of the setup is unclear, contact TSS with the machine model, backing pad size and material you plan to sand.
